A Pastor Friend from Augusta,Ga., back in the 1970s said to me one day.

“Ron, you should not follow the teachings of Dispensations.”

I ask, What is a dispensation?

His answer was, "You just do not need to follow that teaching. You need to follow the covinents."

It was obvious to me that he did not understand that dispensation is a dispensing of something.

God’s methods of dealing with mankind during different ages or times. Like those old Crackers and Chewing gum machines. God dispensed various Covenants during different times. God dispense a covenant with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, throughout the Old Testament. God spoke to and through the Prophets giving forth Prophesy. Jesus gave the Apostles instructions to go only to the Nation of Israel with the Apostolic Doctrine(ref. Matthew 10:5; 15:24). Jesus called Paul to be the Apostle to the Gentiles and gave him Mysteries and Revelations (ref. 2nd Corinthians Ch.12). Today we call those the Church Epistles. We are in the dispensation, the age, the time of “The Church The Body of Grace. Preaching & Teaching the Gospel of Grace" (ref. 1st Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9). Paul explained the Mystery of this Gospel in Galatians Ch. 1 and Ch. 2. The Church today has been given instructions to Study, with Right Division the Word of God (Ref.2nd Timothy 2:15). In the Old Testament it is written that, “God’s people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge" (ref. Hose 4:6). Many today are ever Learning and yet never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth (ref. 2nd Timothy 3:7).
